In the capital of the European Union the Bike for Europe Team will put down their kickstand at an advocacy event, organised together with the International Cycling Union (UCI) in order to promote a healthier, more active and more inclusive society through cycling and physical activity.

The Bike for Europe North Team will arrive in the capital of the European Union in style, and put down their kickstand at an advocacy event, organised together with the International Cycling Union (UCI), in order to promote a healthier, more active and more inclusive society through cycling and physical activity.

They will be welcomed to the city in-front of European Parliament by Pascal Smet from the Brussels Transport Ministry, Michael Cramer MEP, and Marisa Fernández Esteban, the Deputy Head of the EC’s sport unit. From there they will jump in the saddle alongside Pascal Smet for a sightseeing trip around the city, ending at the Stock Exchange. But the action will not stop there, as the team will engage in a slow biking competition in-front of the historic building!

The team will then meet with the Bike for Europe local partner, Michael Brennan from UCI, for an afternoon of culture and cycling.
