Sittard 7.09.

In this southern region of the Netherlands the city of Sittard will welcome the Bike for Europe Team on Friday, the 7th of September 2018. That evening the group will visit Dumoulin Bike Park and attend a meet & greet with professional UCI cyclists, as well as recreational participants at the "Ladies Bike Festival". The North Team will sadly have to leave the following morning to advance to their next country, Germany, but over the weekend there will be some fantastic cycling events taking place around the city.

On Saturday there will be multiple races taking place. Firstly in the morning an 11.9km Time Trial for amateur riders, followed by a Time Trial on the same course as part of the Watersley Ladies Challenge, a UCI international junior event, which will be used by many riders as preparation for the World Championships in Innsbruck!

On Sunday there will be a tour through South Limburg province, accompanied by professional riders, and to finish off the weekend with a bang the Watersley Ladies Challenge will come to a close with the Road Race.
