For the start of the tour, the Bike for Europe South Team will have a varied schedule that encompasses a range of events to signify everything that the tour stands for. They will visit towns that work with the UN Refugee Agency accommodation projects, and also meet with Médecins du Monde Greece, who work closely with refugees. In Thessaloniki itself, to kick-off the tour on September 1st, there will be a number of fun and inclusive events for people of all ages. This will include a bike parade, a slow biking contest, yoga for children, a five a side football tournament, aerobic fitness sessions for children, and a skateboarding, rollerblading, scootering and BMX exhibition!
